Kathleen is a certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly 30 years of emergency and critical care, cardiology, and advanced practice nursing experience.
She is a third-generation graduate of the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester, MA. She earned her BSN from Fitchburg State College, an MS in nursing as a Critical Care Clinical Specialist and later a Post-Master’s as an Adult NP in medicine from UMASS Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester. She completed a second Post-Master’s as a Family NP from UMASS Boston. Before coming to Dr. Kate’s, she’d been an NP in Internal Medicine and emergency care. You may still see her at Mary Lane Hospital where she works in the Emergency Department. Kathleen is Board-Certified twice as a Nurse Practitioner in both family and adult internal medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In her spare time, Kathleen is a call fire Captain. She loves to read-lately the series “A Game of Thrones”. She’s been married to husband Tom for over 30 years. They have 3 grown children, two adorable granddaughters, Taima and Lily and a new grandson Ethan.
